    At sign up - what does the error message “email address already exists” mean and what should I do about it?

    Every email address can only OWN one Tradeshift account. Your email address can be used to be added as a Team Member to an account multiple times, however your email address can only ever own an account once. If you need further explanation on what this means, please get in touch with our support team or keep on reading to see what you can do about it if it does not let you use your own email address:
    It is advised that one of your colleagues should then own the account (the ‘account holder’) and add you as a team member. In order to do this, at sign up stage where it asks you to confirm your email address and company name, just alter the email address to be your colleagues email address, and they will then get the email notification to activate the account on Tradeshift.
    Once that is done, they can log in and add your email address by going to the “company profile” tab, scroll down to the section where it says “invite team members”, click on the section and add your email address in the bar, that appears on the right hand side.
