    AI & Data

Scan Report and Scan Dashboard in the new Analytics

The Scan Report and Scan Dashboard provide insight into the business documents, invoices and credit notes, ingested through both the ScanIO and CS VAN solutions on the Tradeshift platform. Reporting on scanning events makes extraction and error types visible, so failure points such as incorrect date formats, missing fields or duplicated documents can be identified and managed.

    Tradeshift App: Analytics
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
End Users: One Reader licence allocated by default per master buyer account
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    Reporting and Analytics for Sellers

Sellers on a paid subscription now have access to Analytics, covering document data at header and line level, connections and users. It gives sellers a direct, auditable view of their own transaction and onboarding performance.

    Tradeshift App: Analytics
    Audience: Sellers
End Users: One Reader licence allocated by default per master seller account
Availability: Available now in production, no configuration required. Not available in sandbox.

    AP Expert Auditor Agent

Customers with a premium Analytics namespace in AWS Quick can now create a specialist accounts payable agent. It answers questions against their own AP data, covering document volumes, spend limits, supplier information and automation, and it advises on AP workflows, compliance requirements and best practice. It gives instant access to data across multiple topics and datasets.

    Tradeshift App: Analytics
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
End Users: Analytics Author Pro and Reader Pro licences are required for agentic AI features
Availability: Available now in production, configuration required

    Global e-Invoicing Compliance

    UBL 2.1 Effective 1 October 2026

From 1 October 2026, documents exchanged over the Tradeshift network use UBL 2.1 instead of 2.0, and may carry additional fields. Integrations that check the UBL version, or that reject unrecognised elements, should be tested before that date.

    Audience: Sellers, Buyers, Enterprise Customers
    Availability: Effective 1 October 2026

    France Clearance New Fields

Tradeshift has added a new set of UBL 2.1 fields to the France clearance scope: Cadre de Facturation, Bénéficiaire, Montant déjà payé, Payeur de la facture, Agent de l’acheteur, Adressé à, Tiers facturant, Agent du vendeur, ProjectReference, Originator Document Reference, Due Date and Invoice Period (start and end). This supports the French invoicing scope and improves the user experience.

    Audience: Sellers, Buyers, Enterprise Customers
    Availability: Available now, configuration required

    France Clearance Lifecycle Status

French invoices can now be tracked through a new set of clearance statuses, and any status change on a cleared invoice is detected and reported automatically to the tax authority portal (PPF), which the French mandate requires for every mandatory status change. Rejection and dispute reasons can also be recorded in the platform.

    Audience: Sellers, Buyers, Enterprise Customers
    Availability: Available now, configuration required

France PA Dispatch of Rejected Clearance Documents

A received document is now dispatched and visible in Document Manager even when Business Firewall validation fails, and failing documents are rejected automatically so the failure is recorded. Both manual and automatic rejection paths are supported. France clearance requires a traceable record of what was received and why it was rejected.

    Tradeshift App: ScanIO, Document Manager
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    France Compliance Certificate Update

Invoices signed in France and its territories, including French Guiana, Martinique, Réunion and Mayotte, are now signed with Tradeshift’s own CertEurope RGS certificate, replacing the externally provided certificate used previously.

    Audience: Sellers, Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    France B2B E-Invoicing Mandate Notification

French VAT-registered businesses now see a notification in the platform about the mandatory B2B e-invoicing regulation and the deadline that applies to them: September 2026 for large companies and September 2027 for SMEs.

    Audience: Sellers, Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    Malaysia Invoice Data Validation

Front-end validation now blocks invoices with invalid date formats, meaning anything other than YYYY-MM-DD as well as placeholders such as “N/A” and “TBC”, and fields that exceed character limits, specifically invoice numbers over 50 characters and bank accounts over 150 characters. The Malaysian tax authority (LHDNM) rejects invoices that do not meet these strict data format rules. This change ensures invalid data is caught before submission rather than after rejection.

    Audience: Sellers, Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

Poland Clearance Corrective Invoice KSeF Reference

Corrective invoices now display the original invoice’s KSeF number in both the UI and the rendered PDF. The Polish tax portal (KSeF) requires the original invoice’s KSeF reference to be explicitly present on corrective invoices.

    Audience: Sellers, Buyers, Enterprise Customers
    Availability: Available now, configuration required

India Platform Stamp and Signature Removal

The platform stamp and signature previously added to documents received by Indian buyer accounts has been removed, effective 30 July. It applies to both domestic and international invoices, regardless of IRN status. The stamp was a visual element only and was never part of the legal authentication of these documents.

    Audience: Sellers, Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no user action required

Optional Bank Code and Bank Account Number for Poland Domestic Transfers

Bank code and bank account number are now optional for Poland domestic bank transfers, applying to UBL PaymentMeansCode 42 with the PL channel. The payment mean can be saved and reused without them, and the invoice stays valid and dispatchable. This unblocks Polish sellers who manage payment data outside the invoice.

    Audience: Sellers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    Peppol Validation for Participant IDs

Babelway now checks that Peppol company identifiers follow the required format, and enforces Peppol Directory registration in the countries that require it. Invalid identifiers are flagged as soon as they are entered.

    Tradeshift App: Babelway
    Audience: Sellers, Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    Payment Automation

    Invoice Line Relinking Exact Search

The Relink Line page now supports exact match search on document number and line ID, independently or combined, with new input controls placed directly on the table columns, replacing the previous fuzzy search.

    Tradeshift App: Document Matching
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

Invoice Approval Audit Trail Actor Attribution

When the last user approves or rejects an invoice, the audit trail now shows that user as the actor rather than the company’s primary user. Where external API-based approval is configured, the primary user is still shown and the actual approver remains visible in the latest task completion event.

    Tradeshift App: Collaboration
    Audience: Sellers, Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    Document processing in ScanIO

AI Document Extraction and Enrichment in ScanIO

ScanIO turns supplier invoices and credit notes received as PDFs into structured documents. AI extraction and enrichment reads the data from the PDF, completes fields the supplier left out, and resolves references against the purchase order and legal entity data you already hold in Tradeshift. This release brings:

    • A wider set of extracted header and line fields, including cost center, person reference, payment due date and transport references, plus seller and delivery addresses read from the PDF and flagged where they differ from the profile address.

    • PDF invoices submitted by email, routed through Relationship Manager where no connection exists yet, then processed automatically in ScanIO.

    • Invoice lines matched automatically to your PO lines, and buyer tax identifiers matched to your registered legal entities.

    • Extraction rules configurable for your organisation or for a single supplier connection, versioned so a change can be reverted.

    • Corrections made during review applied automatically to later documents with a similar layout.

    • Extraction events and configuration changes recorded in the business audit trail.

    Tradeshift App: ScanIO
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available on request, configuration required

    ScanIO Attachment Deletion

Users can now delete their own manually uploaded attachments from a document in ScanIO. A Delete action appears next to eligible attachments in the Attachments panel. Attachments that arrived with the document through an integration remain protected and cannot be deleted through this feature.

    Tradeshift App: ScanIO
    Audience: Sellers, Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

ScanIO Error Column in the Overview Page

A new Error column sits next to Status in the ScanIO overview table, showing a short error value that can be sorted on, with the full message in a tooltip where necessary. Dispatch failures are now visible in the list itself, so documents with the same error, InvoiceIdDuplicate for example, can be spotted and handled together without opening each one.

    Tradeshift App: ScanIO
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

ScanIO Tag Visibility in the Dashboard View

The Tags column in the ScanIO dashboard is now wider, so most tags are readable without scrolling. Where a document has more tags than fit, the cell scrolls sideways, and hovering over a tag shows its full name.

    Tradeshift App: ScanIO
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    ScanIO Dashboard Status Filter

The ScanIO dashboard now has a Status filter that accepts more than one status at once, covering every state a document can be in. It makes it quicker to find the documents needing action, such as those in enrich, on hold or rejected.

    Tradeshift App: ScanIO
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

ScanIO PO Information Feed at Line Level

When an invoice arrives referencing a purchase order that is not yet on the platform, ScanIO now fills in the PO number and line reference automatically as soon as the PO arrives, and matches the lines without further action. Previously an operator had to open "View PO" and link each line by hand.

    Tradeshift App: ScanIO
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

ScanIO Exchange Rate and Target Currency for the First Invoice Flow

Two header fields, Exchange rate and Target Currency, have been added to the ScanIO first invoice flow, so an invoice issued in one currency and settled in another carries both the rate and the converted currency. Target Currency appears once an exchange rate is entered, is read from the PDF where present, and otherwise defaults to the seller's country currency.

    Tradeshift App: ScanIO
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

ScanIO RM Rendered PDF View and Download

For clearance invoices received as XML or UBL, ScanIO now provides an “RM Rendered PDF”, rendered by Relationship Manager, to view and download from the attachment tab, and it can also be downloaded in Document Manager. The PDF shows the document as received and does not change when fields are amended, giving AP users who cannot read XML a locked reference while the UBL or XML remains the legal source of truth.

    Tradeshift App: ScanIO, Document Manager
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

ScanIO Line Level Cost Center on PO Lines

ScanIO now shows the cost center on invoice and PO lines, and the PO line list under "Look for PO" can be filtered by it, which helps where the cost center is what identifies the correct PO line. Filtering requires the AI hybrid extraction model.

    Tradeshift App: ScanIO
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    ScanIO Duplicate Invoice Line

Each line in the Line items panel now has a Duplicate action that copies every field into a new line, including item, PO and order references, quantity, unit price, amount, tax, charges and discounts, and the invoice total updates automatically.

    Tradeshift App: ScanIO
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    Supplier onboarding and connections

Relationship Manager Onboarding for France Clearance

Invoices whose supplier can be identified from their French company identifiers (SIREN or SIRET) now skip Relationship Manager and go straight to ScanIO. Where Relationship Manager is still needed, for new or unknown suppliers, the flow is shorter: the supplier is searched and pre-selected on an exact match of company name, country and tax identifier, and for UBL documents the identifier setup step is gone, since those identifiers are already in the document.

    Tradeshift App: Relationship Manager, ScanIO
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
    Availability: Available now, configuration required

Relationship Manager PDF Rendering and Download

Relationship Manager now previews and downloads documents as PDF, for both PDF and UBL or XML files, the same way ScanIO already does. Users can see the full document before deciding which supplier it belongs to, instead of judging from extracted fields alone.

    Tradeshift App: Relationship Manager
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    Relationship Manager Supplier Search Improvements

Email contacts now appear in the supplier search at step 1 of Relationship Manager, showing only the contacts on the buyer's tenant. When a supplier sends their first invoice, the buyer can select the matching email contact and create the relationship directly, and the passive connection is created for them rather than by hand.

    Tradeshift App: Relationship Manager
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

Network Manager Auto-Delete of Email Connections

When a relationship is created from an email contact, the passive connection that replaces it is created automatically, and the original email connection is now removed from Network Manager.

    Tradeshift App: Network Manager
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    Procurement

    Supplier-Scoped Pre-Approval for Purchase Requests

Purchase requests for selected suppliers can now be routed to a designated approver or team before the usual approval, with an optional amount threshold. This gives oversight at supplier level rather than across a whole commodity, and it applies even when the request falls under the requester's auto-approval limit.

    Tradeshift App: Purchase Request
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
End Users: Facility managers and teams approve; company IT admins configure via API; requesters see the additional approval stage
    Availability: Available now, configuration required

Self-Service “Deliver To” Locations in Company Profile

Company admins can now create and manage "Deliver to" locations in the Profile app, under the Locations tab, and requesters can pick from those saved addresses when raising a purchase request.

    Tradeshift App: Profile
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
End Users: Company admins create and edit locations; requesters view and select them in the purchase request flow
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

“Use as Draft” Reuse for Order Change Requests

Buyers can now start a new purchase request pre-filled from an existing Order Change Request, the same “Use as draft” capability already available on purchase requests. Two options appear in the Order Change Request’s Document Actions: “Use as draft PR” and “Use as draft PR (discard coding)”. This supports project-based purchasing where store, cost center and internal order values repeat across many orders.

    Tradeshift App: Purchase Request
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
End Users: Requesters and any user with Create Purchase Request permission
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

Procurement Assistance Actions in the Business Audit Trail

When a Procurement Assistant submits and returns a purchase request to the requester, a purchaserequest:assistance:returned event is now recorded in the Business Audit Trail, carrying the purchase request UUID, tenant, assistant actor, timestamp and a submittedOnBehalf flag.

Tradeshift App: Business Audit Trail, Task Manager
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
End Users: Buyer company admins and auditors view the record; Procurement Assistants generate the event
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

Resend Purchase Order Notification to Supplier

Buyers can now re-send the purchase order email with the PDF re-attached, using “Send PO notifications” under Document Actions on purchase orders in Sent state. Re-delivering a PO when a supplier reports they never received it previously required a Tradeshift support ticket.

    Tradeshift App: Purchase Order
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
End Users: Buyer users with Document Actions permission on purchase orders
    Availability: Available now, configuration required

Extended PO Legal Note with Formatting

The legal entity “Legal Note” printed on the purchase order PDF now accepts around 5,000 characters, up from 700, and preserves bold, underline and line breaks.

    Tradeshift App: Purchase Order
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
End Users: Buyers, and suppliers who read the PDF
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

    Clearer Purchase Order Status Labels

Two purchase order statuses have been renamed: "Sent" is now "Issued", and "Received {date}" is now "Received by supplier {date}", to avoid confusion with shipment status. The change applies in the PO list, the PO viewer and Order Change documents.

    Tradeshift App: Purchase Order
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
Availability: Available now, no configuration required

Alphabetical, Searchable User and Team Picker in RFQ Setup

Company admins configuring a Request for Quote in Tradeshift Configurator now see the “Add users” and “Add teams” panels sorted alphabetically with a live search field.

    Tradeshift App: Configurator
    Audience: Buyers, Enterprise Customers
    End Users: Buyer company admins
Availability: Available now, no configuration required
