    How to use filters in Document Manager

    In the Document Manager, on the left side of the document list, you can find several filters. Use these filters to refine your search and get specific results. The set of available filters allows you to filter by status, document type issue date and more. The filters you select show up as tags on top of your document list. You can remove tags one by one by clicking on the tag's cross icon. You can also clear all the selected filters at once by clicking “Clear all.” 


    Using Quick Filters


    If you use the same set of filters often, it’s a good idea to save the selection into a quick filter so you can reuse it later.


    How to save a quick filter


    • Select at least one filter option from the left-side panel
    • Click “Save," next to the filter tags 
    • Name your quick filter
    • Find your quick filter in the Quick Filters section of the filter panel



    How to edit a quick filter


    • Select the quick filter from Quick Filters section
    • Add or remove filter criteria
    • Click “Save,” next to the filter tags 
    • Click “Overwrite” to update the quick filter


    How to delete a quick filter


    • Open the Quick Filters section from the left-side panel
    • Click on the trash can icon that appears when you hover on a single quick filter
    • Click OK to confirm deletion



    Available filters explained  


    Quick Filters

    A reusable filter preset combination that you can save, update and delete.  


    Document Type

    A list of all supported document types like invoice, credit note, purchase order and more.  


    Status

    A list of possible document statuses like sent, received, rejected and more. Read about common document statuses here.


    Date issued or created

    A custom date range or a preset range like Today, Last 7 days.


    Transaction Type

    Choose between sales or purchase transactions. 


    Sales documents are connected to accounts receivables transactions, such as: RFQs received, Quotes sent, Orders received, Order Changes received, Order responses sent, Receipt advices received, Despatch advice sent, Invoices sent, Credit notes sent, Remittance advices received


    Purchase documents are connected to to accounts payables transactions, such as: RFQs received, Quotes sent, Orders received, Order Changes received, Order responses sent, Receipt advices received, Despatch advice sent, Invoices sent, Credit notes sent, Remittance advices received Sender and recipient Search documents according to the connected companies that you have transacted with. 


    Copy indication

    Choose between copies or original documents. Documents created in Tradeshift via user interface or integration are originals. Copies are representations of original documents uploaded to Tradeshift from a company's ERP. This filter only applies to invoices.


    Archived documents

    Choose whether to show or hide archived documents from the list. Archived documents are hidden by default.


    Additional filters

    Search for a specific document field like document number, cost center or accounting system ID. Unlike the main search function, this filter looks for an exact match of your input for a specific data field.
